The shoes that started the revolution.
Around a decade ago, Five Ten, the class-leading rock climbing and mountaineering shoe manufacturer started working with professional downhill racers(amongst the likes of Chris Kovarik) that preferred flat pedals.
The result was a downhill shoe that offered support and protection with the revolutionary stealth rubber that Five Ten developed to stick to inverted rock faces a few hundred metres off the earth.
At any given downhill race, the Five Ten Impact shoes can been seen on the majority of the riders feet. If you are not running these, you are giving the competition a leg up.
